Gtaw welder — Sullivan County

Join our team: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Sullivan County, Tennessee. You will work at a stainless steel fabrication shop. On a typical shift you will set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring). Ideal candidate: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium Part-time with flexible hours.
