Tiling assistant — Monmouthshire

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a tiling assistant in Monmouthshire, Wales. You will work at a bathroom renovation job. What we are looking for: • Work neatly with minimal tile wastage • Own a basic set of tiling tools (trowels, spacers, levels) • 2+ years' hands-on tiling experience On the job you will handle: • Spread adhesive with a notched trowel and back-butter the tiles • Level large-format tiles with a tile levelling system • Mix tile adhesive and cement mortar to the right consistency • Match the tile pattern and coursing across the walls • Set out the tile layout and snap reference lines with a chalk line • Grout the joints and wipe off the excess with a damp sponge Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
