Halal butcher • Beaufort County, North Carolina

Vacancy available: we are hiring a halal butcher in Beaufort County, North Carolina. You will be based in a hotel or restaurant butchery. The role involves: • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Season and marinate meat on request • Take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders Requirements: • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. $4,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
