Now hiring: site safety steward (Missouri)

Join our team: we are hiring a site safety steward in Cedar County, Missouri. You will be based on a road and infrastructure project. On a typical shift you will run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry; run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points; audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges; stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action; update the risk register and method statements (RAMS); ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site. Ideal candidate: • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. We offer $4,100 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
