GMAW welder • Oconto County, Wisconsin

Join our team: we are hiring a GMAW welder in Oconto County, Wisconsin. You will work in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. Your main tasks: • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls Ideal candidate: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
