Vacancy available: we are hiring an auto mechanic in Des Moines County, Iowa. You will be based on the workshop ramps. Ideal candidate: • ITI / NVQ Level 3 qualification in motor vehicle maintenance • At least 2 years' hands-on experience as a car mechanic • Comfortable working in inspection pits and on ramps The role involves replace exhaust systems and catalytic converters; bleed the brake hydraulic lines and check pad wear; carry out oil and filter changes; service and replace timing belts and chains. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
