Tig welder wanted in Bartholomew County

Join our team: we are hiring a tig welder in Bartholomew County, Indiana. You will work in a pipe-spool fabrication yard. What we are looking for: • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Own basic hand tools and PPE You will grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring). At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Pay around $5,100 per month, based on your experience.
