Immediate opening: floor screeder (Texas)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a floor screeder in Shelby County, Texas. You will be based on a road and bridge project. On a typical shift you will compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing; patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout; fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule; float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish; carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab; load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors. Requirements: • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds 1+ years on the tools preferred. $3,500 per project, negotiable for the right hands.
