Join our team: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Clay County, Texas. You will work on an industrial construction site. Day-to-day duties: • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp You should have: • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium $5,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
