Urgent requirement: turning centre operator (California)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Calaveras County, California. You will work at a busy machine shop. On the job you will handle: • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand • Run first-off inspection and sign off the part Ideal candidate: • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls Part-time with flexible hours.
