Milling machinist • Amelia County, Virginia

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a milling machinist in Amelia County, Virginia. You will be based in a die and mould making unit. You should have: • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron On the job you will handle: • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. Pay around $4,600 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
