Hydraulic press operator — Calhoun County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a hydraulic press operator in Calhoun County, Mississippi. You will be based in a sheet metal stamping unit. Day to day you will adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings; clear scrap and offcuts from the die area; watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts; check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges; load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed; run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely. Requirements: • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes Part-time with flexible hours.
