Lift technician — West Baton Rouge Parish

Vacancy available: we are hiring a lift technician in West Baton Rouge Parish, Louisiana. You will work in a hospital with heavy lift traffic. Ideal candidate: • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • Valid driving licence for site call-outs • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota The role involves: • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Run load and overload tests with test weights Rotating shifts.
