Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas appliance installer in Pope County, Minnesota. You will be based in a gas distribution network. Ideal candidate: • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing The role involves: • Complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation • Braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant • Install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation • Install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves • Fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls Full-time, day shift.
