Ladle pourer wanted in Montour County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a ladle pourer in Montour County, Pennsylvania. Your main tasks: • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects You should have: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding Full-time with occasional weekends.
