Join our team: we are hiring a sheet metal roofer in Chilton County, Alabama. Day-to-day duties: • Fit valley gutters, fascias and soffits • Erect and dismantle roof edge protection and scaffolding • Replace cracked or slipped tiles and slates • Strip old shingles and felt back down to the deck • Seal joints and penetrations with mastic and lead flashing • Torch on bitumen membrane across flat roofs You should have: • Strong enough to lift tile packs and felt rolls all day • A good head for heights and steady balance • Own hand tools (hammer, nail gun, slate ripper) Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
