Immediate opening: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Delta County, Michigan. What we are looking for: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Able to pass a weld test on the spot You will weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. We offer $5,100 per month plus benefits. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time, day shift.
