Immediate opening: we are hiring a CNC mill setter-operator in San Mateo County, California. You will work at a precision engineering workshop. You should have: • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron Day-to-day duties: • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. $4,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
