Sheet metal welder — Moffat County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in Moffat County, Colorado. You will be based at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. On the job you will handle: • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage 3+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
