Now hiring: we are hiring an occupational health and safety officer in Ikara, Kaduna State. Requirements: • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites Your main tasks: • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry • Update the risk register and method statements (RAMS) • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry • Carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action • Enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment Full-time with occasional weekends. ₦195,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
