Immediate opening: we are hiring a plant operator in Fayette County, Indiana. The job is at an injection moulding unit. You will segregate finished parts into bins and label the batches; set up and start the machine as per the job card; load raw material and feed stock into the machine hopper; run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing; record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet; measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges. Ideal candidate: • 1-2 years' experience operating production machinery • ITI or diploma in fitter or machinist trade an advantage • Able to stand for long hours on the shop floor 4+ years on the tools preferred.
