Great opportunity: we are hiring a paint and prep technician in Greene County, Iowa. The job is in a car refinishing workshop. Ideal candidate: • Good eye for colour matching and blending • Confident with wet-sanding and machine polishing The role involves wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying; set the spray gun air pressure and fan pattern for an even finish; wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs; prime and seal bare metal to stop rust; apply primer, base coat and clear coat with an HVLP spray gun.
