We are recruiting: we are hiring a confectioner in Adams County, Pennsylvania. You will be based at a cake shop. On the job you will handle: • Load and unload the deck oven with a peel • Prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity • Check finished products for colour, crumb and weight • Grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds • Laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter Ideal candidate: • Accurate at weighing and following recipes • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
