Pipe TIG welder wanted in Valley County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a pipe TIG welder in Valley County, Nebraska. You will be based at a busy fabrication workshop. What we are looking for: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination On the job you will handle: • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
