Great opportunity: we are hiring a domestic electrician in Shelby County, Alabama. The job is at a residential housing project. Day to day you will replace faulty switches, sockets and light fittings; carry out preventive maintenance on switchgear and busbars; measure voltage, current and load with a multimeter and clamp meter; read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams; size and route cabling to suit the load current and voltage drop. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of IS wiring and earthing standards • Normal colour vision for cable identification Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. $5,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
