Immediate opening: we are hiring a PVC profile cutter in Nantucket County, Massachusetts. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges • Confident on the double-mitre saw, welder and corner-cleaning machine • Comfortable handling and lifting glazed units safely On the job you will handle: • Drill drainage and pressure-equalisation slots in the outer frame • Rout lock and hardware pockets with the copy router • Check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals • Fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash • Cut uPVC profiles to size on a double-mitre saw at 45 degrees • Read the cutting list and optimisation sheet and label each profile Full-time, day shift.
