Finishing presser — Ellis County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a finishing presser in Ellis County, Texas. You will be based at a textile finishing unit. You should have: • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory On the job you will handle: • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Give each garment a final press before packing • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press $3,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
