Now hiring: we are hiring a shuttering and concrete hand in Essex County, Virginia. You should have: • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers The role involves: • Load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors • Discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms • Strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
