Banksman wanted in Moultrie County

Join our team: we are hiring a banksman in Moultrie County, Illinois. You will be based at a shipyard. Day-to-day duties: • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight Requirements: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams 3+ years on the tools preferred. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
