Lathe operator — Kandiyohi County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a lathe operator in Kandiyohi County, Minnesota. The job is at an auto-parts workshop. On a typical shift you will record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet; monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift; clear jams and remove rejected parts from the line; measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges; carry out daily clean-down and 5S of the work station; key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature. You should have: • Able to read job cards and basic engineering drawings • ITI or diploma in fitter or machinist trade an advantage • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts Part-time with flexible hours.
