Precision welder wanted in Grant County

Now hiring: we are hiring a precision welder in Grant County, Minnesota. You will work at a stainless steel fabrication shop. Day-to-day duties: • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) Requirements: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $3,700 per month, based on your experience. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
