Now hiring: we are hiring a health and safety supervisor in Benton County, Missouri. The job is in a chemical processing unit. Your main tasks: • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry Ideal candidate: • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
