Now hiring: gas appliance installer (Tennessee)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gas appliance installer in Giles County, Tennessee. You will be based at a heating and plumbing contractor. Day-to-day duties: • Fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances • Read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes • Run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints • Test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser Requirements: • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches • Driving licence for travel between sites • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces Full-time with occasional weekends. $2,500 per project, negotiable for the right hands.
