Pipe TIG welder • White County, Illinois

We are recruiting: we are hiring a pipe TIG welder in White County, Illinois. You will work at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. On a typical shift you will select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool. What we are looking for: • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. We offer $250 per day plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
