Now hiring: concrete labourer (Northern Ireland)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a concrete labourer in Antrim and Newtownabbey, Northern Ireland. You will work at a ready-mix concrete plant. On the job you will handle: • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days • Cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing • Load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors • Discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms • Patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout Ideal candidate: • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers Part-time with flexible hours.
