Shuttering carpenter — Isle of Wight

We are recruiting: we are hiring a shuttering carpenter in Isle of Wight, England. The role involves fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure; read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters; box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations; seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years on RCC and formwork on building or infrastructure sites • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing • Follows site safety, PPE and edge-protection rules At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
