Now hiring: we are hiring a finishing plasterer in Noble County, Indiana. You will work in a refurbishment property. You should have: • Able to read drawings and set out work to a deadline • Willing to work on both new build and refurbishment sites The role involves: • Fix and set angle beads, stop beads and corner beads • Dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming • Apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork • Clean trowels, buckets and mixers before the plaster sets • Apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat • Mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
