Glass fitter — Iowa County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a glass fitter in Iowa County, Wisconsin. You will work on a construction site. Day-to-day duties: • Apply putty, silicone and glazing tape to bed the glass • Work safely at height on scaffolds and ladders • Cut glass to size using a glass cutter and running pliers • Handle large panes using suction cups and a lifting frame • Read drawings and setting-out details for glazing layouts • Replace cracked or broken window panes Requirements: • Able to cut glass accurately to size • Physically fit, able to stand and lift throughout the shift • Aware of safe glass handling and PPE such as cut-resistant gloves Full-time with occasional weekends.
