Tig welder — Blaine County

Now hiring: we are hiring a tig welder in Blaine County, Idaho. You will be based at a precision engineering workshop. On a typical shift you will grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring). Requirements: • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings $3,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Full-time, day shift.
