Safety officer — Tallapoosa County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a safety officer in Tallapoosa County, Alabama. You will be based at a manufacturing plant. Your main tasks: • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Update the risk register and method statements (RAMS) Requirements: • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites We offer $4,000 per month plus benefits.
