Garment presser — Wyandot County

Join our team: we are hiring a garment presser in Wyandot County, Ohio. The job is at a textile finishing unit. The role involves: • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Give each garment a final press before packing Ideal candidate: • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets Full-time with occasional weekends.
