Join our team: we are hiring an argon welder in Onna, Akwa Ibom State. The job is in a pipe-spool fabrication yard. On the job you will handle: • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium 1+ years on the tools preferred.
