PVC window fabricator • City and Borough of Birmingham, England

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a PVC window fabricator in City and Borough of Birmingham, England. The job is on a window-and-door production line. Requirements: • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges • Own basic hand tools (tape, square, screw gun) • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres Day-to-day duties: • Drill drainage and pressure-equalisation slots in the outer frame • Fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam • Take site measurements of openings before fabrication • Clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash • Cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame • Fit EPDM gaskets and brush-pile weather seals along the rails Full-time with occasional weekends. Pay around £1,950 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
