Gas pipeline fitter — Clark County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gas pipeline fitter in Clark County, Illinois. Your main tasks: • Locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant • Read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes • Install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation • Fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances • Test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser What we are looking for: • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. $4,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
