Argon welder wanted in Washington County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an argon welder in Washington County, Iowa. You will be based in a stainless steel kitchen-equipment unit. Requirements: • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Able to pass a weld test on the spot Day to day you will back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec.
