Gas pipe fitter wanted in Harrison County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gas pipe fitter in Harrison County, Iowa. You will be based in customers' homes and kitchens. What we are looking for: • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders • Driving licence for travel between sites Day-to-day duties: • Set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge • Run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply • Complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation • Lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate $3,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
