Immediate opening: we are hiring a carpenter in Shropshire, England. You will be based at a shopfitting company. You should have: • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work • Good eye for detail and a clean finish • CSCS card for site-based work an advantage On a typical shift you will install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails; finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain; apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board; build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions.
