Join our team: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Allen County, Ohio. You will be based at a busy sheet-metal workshop. On the job you will handle: • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight Part-time with flexible hours.
