Immediate opening: gang bricklayer (Oklahoma)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gang bricklayer in Creek County, Oklahoma. You will work at a groundworks and structures site. What we are looking for: • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks Your main tasks: • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge 6+ years on the tools preferred.
