Trowel-trade bricklayer • Pike County, Kentucky

Vacancy available: we are hiring a trowel-trade bricklayer in Pike County, Kentucky. You will work at a residential building site. On the job you will handle: • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge Requirements: • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding Full-time, day shift.
